As is the case for many people in our community, the fight against cancer is close to our hearts. We are organizing Run Rogue 5K in their onor to help fund two amazing charities. Proceeds from the race will be split evenly between Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure and Life with Cancer.
Run Rogue 5K is a family-oriented event where participants can walk or run a fun USATF certified 5K course or participate in the 1K kids fun run before the main event. Cancer touches so many people in our community and Run Rogue 5K is a great way to show your support and help make a difference. We hope to see you on race day! Date: Sunday, March 23, 2014 Time: 9:00 am (Race Start)
Location: Fairfax Corner Shopping Center 11900 Palace Way Fairfax, VA 22030
Let's see what BethAnn's been up to at the gym! Come out to CorssFit Merrifield and join her for a unique and fun workout on Saturday, April 5. Never done CrossFit before? Wo worries - no experience is necessary and workouts are designed to accommodate everyone. Like BethAnn, CrossFit Merrifield is passionate about community and service, and we are so proud to have her as a member of our family athletes and to be able to support and Team BT.
Date: Sunday, May 4, 2014 Time: 7:00 am Location: Freedom Plaza, 13th St. and Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Washington DC
Please join us for the 176th Annual Race for Hope - Washington, DC 5K Run/Walk, one of the largest national fundraisers to benefit the brain tumor community!

Probably the most emotional walk I have ever done starts at 8:30 a.m. All Survivors report to the Survivors Tent and take that special walk in front of the entire field of participants! If you are not a Survivor, please line up to cheer us all on! (Bring tissues!)
The 5k Run/Walk begins at 9 a.m. followed by the Kids Fun Run at 10 a.m.
