To make things more convenient for everyone, I will be picking up Team BT's race packets prior to the event.Each team member's packet will be available on Sunday morning at the Team BT tent location.
TEAM BT MEETING LOCATION:
This year, Team BT has a new "Team BT" tent, which is amazing and will help us stand out from the crowd (For those of you who have participated in the past, it is the same location.) Team BT will be located at the corner of 14th Street and Pennsylvania South. Also, you will be able to leave your belongings during the race as it will be manned the entire time.
PLEASE be at Team BT's tent no later than 7:30 a.m. for a team photo.Brain Tumor Survivors start at 8:30 a.m. and the 5K race starts at 9 a.m.
Volunteer Check-in: 6:00 AM at the volunteer table
Registration/Packet Pickup: 7:00 AM - 8:45 AM at Registration Tent
ALL Race day registrations are $50. A bag check for your gear is located on Freedom Plaza.
Pre-Race Warm Up: 8:15 AM on Freedom Plaza
Survivors Tribute: 8:30 AM at Survivors Tent, walk to Start/Finish Line (Pennsylvania Ave. between 12th & 13th Streets)
Race Start: 9 AM
If you're a competitive runner, head up to the start line around 8:35am.Families with young children and strollers must follow behind for safety reasons.
Kids Fun Run: 10 AM at Start/Finish Line
Join us for a 1 block, up and back, course on Pennsylvania Avenue.All kids receive a cool Fun Run medal!No registration necessary.
Awards Ceremony: 10:30 AM at stage on Freedom Plaza
The Triumph of Spirit Award, check presentations and awards to the top male and female brain tumor survivors and top male and female winners overall.
Wall of Hope: Please visit our 16-foot Wall of Hope to view a touching tribute to brain tumor survivors and those who have lost their battle.
